The User Manuals & Operating Instructions library is intended for boiler owners and occupants who need help with normal operation, controls, settings, basic fault information and other manufacturer guidance. Depending on the boiler range, this may include user guides, operating instructions or quick-start documentation.
The Service & Engineer Mode Instructions library helps locate the relevant procedures used for commissioning, servicing and diagnostics. Manufacturers use different terminology, including service mode, installer mode, installer level, service menu, check programmes and chimney sweep mode, so the relevant information may appear under different names for different boiler ranges.
Using the correct boiler documentation
Boiler models can change during a product's lifetime, and similar model names may have different controls, components or manual revisions. Always check the exact appliance model and, where relevant, its serial number or manufacture period before relying on technical documentation.
Manufacturer-hosted documentation is preferred throughout the libraries. For older or discontinued boilers where the original manufacturer no longer provides a stable public copy, an external archive may be used and is identified as such.
User documentation is suitable for normal boiler operation and homeowner information. Installation, servicing, combustion, gas, oil and internal boiler work should be carried out by a suitably qualified competent engineer. Gas work in the UK must be carried out by an appropriately registered Gas Safe engineer.
